A well established bank is looking for a candidate who is able to build and then subsequently manage their connectivity department.
The company at present offers domestic execution, clearing, settlement and custody services to the investment management community but is looking to expand this service offering enabling current and future clients to trade cross border/multi market. The organisation is a major player within the investment banking market and is looking to leverage the current relationships in place by offering a wider service from an execution basis.
The role will firstly include managing existing connectivity projects in place but will eventually lead to a major project liaising with vendors, exchanges and third party brokerages in order to broaden the companies service therefore a good comprehension of connectivity, FIX, front office solutions, technical analysis and data requirements, and knowledge of companies such as Royal Blue (implementation Fidessa individuals are especially of interest), GL Trade, Tradeware and all major exchanges (including European and US) is exceptionally advantageous. Management of technical and implementation staff is exceptionally advantageous as is previous experience of being a business analyst and product manager/developer.
This is an excellent opportunity for a ‘hands on and experienced’ project manager to eventually run a major project building a seamless cross border trading solution for a major investment bank.
