The role of an Implementation Specialist is to perform and manage the technical aspects of connecting customers to Pipeline’s systems. An Implementation Specialist works closely with Pipeline customers throughout the implementation to ensure a smooth integration process.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in a computer related discipline
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environment
- Ability to troubleshoot TCP/IP networking issues
- Working knowledge of the FIX (Financial Information Exchange) protocol.
- Exceptional organization skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment
Experience in any of the following a plus:
- Prior experience with trading and order management systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot networking issues on Cisco routers, firewalls, and switches.
- Experience reading network sniffer traces
- Understanding of IPSec VPNs
