A European-based investment management technology firm is currently looking to hire a software implementation specialist to their NYC office. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who love an entrepreneurial work environment combined with the fiscal stability of a large company (600 employees worldwide, 15 in NYC). 4 weeks vacation, lots of opportunity to travel. Very open corporate culture, ambitious yet relaxed. This firm believes in empowering it*s employees and look for those who can work independently. 70-80 base + bonus.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES, TASKS AND ACTIVITIES

· Implementation of software at a customer including
· Perform workshops at customers during the analyses phase pf the project
o Prepare a presentation of system on slides and in the system with a predefined scope
o Provide the customer with checklist
o Document the results for sign off
· Configuration of system
· Train project members on customers side
· Document the results/configuration
· Perform test tasks
The Implementation of the system at a customer requires frequent travelling within the US and Canada

· Specification and test of enhancements of the system
· Handling of change Requests
· Write the requirement specification
· Manage the review process

· Participate in the release testing (this may require travel to Copenhagen twice a year)

Education/Expertise

· College degree, for example economics, physics or mathematics

Experience

· Experience with the implementation of a rules based or configurable business software
· Experience with competing systems will be a plus but is not required.
· Experience with investment management disciplines (such as fund accounting or back office)
