Implementing Novice

Hi,

I’m looking into communication possibilities to link a number of external dealers using a bespoke application into our Legacy system. We currently use a fix engine via EMX, but as I understand it, the fix engine has a start of day procedure where it dials several i.p. addresses and the dealers actually log onto the EMX app from their machines.

Can you give me an illustration on how it it would be possible to have potentially 60 users accessing a dedicated fix engine? I’m looking for more information on Network connectivity and support and the type of infrastructure required to achieve this.

Kind regards

Greg

Hi Greg,

You could use a web-based client interface that hooks into the FIX engine and runs over Internet / Intranet.

There are several available in the marketplace from a number of vendors, including our own one: Web Broker. If you’d like more details contact me outside this forum.
