M Squared (www.msquared.com) is a leading broker of independent business consultants. We are currently working on an exciting new project for our client, a Boston based a Boston based provider of data/information to the financial services industry. They have turned to M Squared to find FIX protocol
experts to help project manage the migration of our client’s customers to their new generation of automation services. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring our client’s customers are fully prepared to move through the various stages of transitioning to the new generation of our client’s product.
REQUIREMENTS:
Industry Experience
From a technical perspective, understanding the securities industry is a must.
Functional Experience
Strong technical background with a solid fundamental understanding of Unix and FIX protocol. Prior experience working in an IT systems and support environment (trouble shooting, problem solving), managing migrations (platform to platform) and upgrades will be extremely valuable. Strong familiarity of Order Management Systems and associated ASP’s/Service Bureaus. Proven experience interfacing with customers.
