Index linked Debts

Imported from previous forum

Hi all,

I just wanted to know if there are debt instruments whose return is linked to the stock market in form of a stcok index like NASDAQ.This would mean that additional attributes have to be added in the system in such a case.Could anybody give a live example of such an instrument.

Thanks,
Deepak.

Deepak: not sure about such securities. On a matter of terminology in European Fixed Income "Index Linked" normally refers to bonds that are linked to an inflation index.
