How do we send Auxiliary settlement instruction indicator (OAUX) on Confirmation messages in Spain market?
There are mainly two types of transactions in Spain, OWNI being the default type which doesn’t need to be explicitly mentioned on the Confirmation but OAUX needs to be explicitly mentioned on the Confirmation if either side or both counterparties are SIFA account holders.
Swift recommends sending tag 22F::SETR/IBRC/OAUX.
CTM recommends sending tag TypeOfTransactionIndicator = OAUX.
If no such tag exists in FIX today, please let me know how I can raise a change request?
