InfoReach is announcing the release of a new version of its EL-TRADER FIX Engine. The new 5.6 release primarily provides major performance improvement as well as new features.
APIs:
The C++ API now supports Visual C++ .NET, and EL-TRADER FIX Engine can run in-process with C++ applications.
ENGINE TOOLS ENHANCEMENTS:
New fields have been added to Engine View to provide more process-related information such as:
- Process: Shows name of process where FIX connection is located
- Process State: Indicates the state of the process (Available/Unavailable)
- Memory Avail: Indicates the free memory available for the engine
- Memory Used: Indicates engine’s memory utilization
- Thread Count: Number of current engine process threads
- Process Update Time: Timestamp of last update to the process state
- SSL Cipher Suite: Name of currently used SSL Cipher Suite between counterparts
- Encryption: Indicates encryption method used by FIX connection
NEW ENGINE TOOL:
A new GUI tool has been added with the latest release package - AppAdmin. This new tool monitors and checks process states and exceptions for processes which are running on different machines. By providing a centralized view of all running processes, commands can be dispatched to each of the running processes.
