Informatica B2B Data Exchange and FIX?

I was surprised to run into a sales guy from Informatica at the FPL Americas conference. He told me that Informatica supports FIX protocol but could not tell me anything beyond that in terms of how their product works :slight_smile:

Does anyone know if anyone uses Informatica in Trade Processing workflows? If so, what are the advantages of using their platform?

Informatica B2B DataTransfromation has a FIX library that can transform FIX messages into XML and vise versa. it is completely integrated into PowerCenter, and you could run a powercenter mapping that will take FIX message and load it into your application, without the need to deal with the complexity of FIX.
