Interpretation of the Price Tag for IOI's

Hi,

I would like to send an IOI without a price.
What would be more compliant by FIX standards

  1. Excluding Tag 44 (price) from the IOI message
    or

  2. Setting Tag 44 = 0

I appreciate your help

Due to the tag 44 (Price) is not required in the IOI message the correct way according to the standard is, simply, don’t send this tag.

If you’d send tag 44 (Price) with value = 0 then that means an specific price (zero) and, if this price is not valid, then the message must be rejected by the other side.
