Role Specific Responsibilities:
•Defines and executes a Risk and Control strategy for the LoB, leveraging Risk and Control Specialist resources and tools as appropriate.
•Provides guidance and direction for IB Technology and LoB on all aspects of risk and control.
•Works with the LoB to investigate and reach resolution on any intrusion or information risk incidents.
•Responsible for executing an effective risk management program for the LoB, leveraging key processes such as Application Re-certifications, Outside Service Providers Reviews etc.
•Coordinates interaction with regulatory bodies on Risk and Control Issues for the LoB
•Works with the LoB technology groups to ensure the quality and consistency of Control Self Assessment, (CSA), submissions, Audit and Risk Event Database, (RED) entries and corrective action plans.
•Facilitates resolution and communication of IB IRCM Core, CIRM, and Corporate Operation Risk, (COR), decisions, standards discussions and issues with LoB.
•Oversees progress control, progress reporting, risks and issues management, and quality management throughout the entire project lifecycle
•Ensures that the business is made aware of all implications, including operational cost, of any planned and/or committed work
•Ensures adherence to security policies and standards

Product Leadership:
•Acts as an industry class expert in risk, controls and program management for the LoB

Strategic Management:
•Ensures project deliverables are aligned with business and IB Technology strategies

Strong Business Partnership:
•Establishes and maintains working relationships across all businesses, IB Technology, and between technology team members
•Acts as a point of contact to Project Sponsors for the LoB
•Communicates the practical implications of information risk and controls decisions, issues and plans to the Project Sponsors
•Establishes and maintains working relationships with internal partners such as ETS, Audit and Operational Risk Management, (ORM)

Continuous Improvement:
•Contributes to continuous improvement and promotes leverage of successful products and processes from across IB
•Works to identify opportunities to improve and refine services to meet business needs
•Identifies and communicates ways to improve current Project Management standards
•Regularly holds information sharing sessions
•Proactively supports knowledge sharing within the LOB Control Offices and across IB Technology

Finance Management:
•Responsible for risk and control demand management for a regional business.
•Captures project benefits for inclusion in the business case

People Management:
•Manages Informtion Risk and Control Analysts in supporting IB Technology and business groups on all aspects of risk and provides direction/support to IB Technology on control issues.
•Manages day to day workload of team members, monitoring project milestones and critical dates
•Plays a major role in performance management actually writing appraisals, giving personal feedback and agreeing development plans with team members
•Develops, trains, and coaches team members
Promotes effective teamwork and manages interpersonal issues
