For major global Financaial Services firm, lead a small J2EE infrastructure team focused on cross-platform integration projects. This role requires senior-level design skills and strong hands-on J2EE coding as well as project management experience. Most projects involve internal consultative engagements, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience scoping and leading complex J2EE software development projects, with architectural and hands-on programming contributions.
J2EE design and development, design patterns (esp. a working knowledge of J2EE design patterns), and EJB 2.0 development including MDB and CMP entity beans.
Working knowledge of J2EE clustering and failover in at least one app server environment, multithreaded java application development, JMS and JDBC. Linux/Unix OS admin. C/C++ a strong plus.
Position is based in NYC.
