This is a software development role working in a team developing a new commission system for Futures business, working within the futures sales technology group.
Responsibilities:
The role includes requirements gathering, analysis, software development and testing. The new system will have a global user-base, and the candidate will be required to liaise with business users and technologists in other locations (principally London and Tokyo).
The candidate will have the necessary technical skills to enhance develop server side components using Java and C# languages.
Skills/Experience Required:
Technical Skills
-Java (5+ years) - required.
-Strong database skills using Sybase - required.
-Some knowledge of developing financial system in area of trade processing - required.
-Server side application development experience under Solaris or LINUX platforms - required.
-C# - plus/nice to have.
Relevant Skills/Qualifications:
-Strong technical development skills.
-The ability to work effectively within a global technology team.
-A self-starter who can plan their work, present status and ideas clearly to the team, and can learn a complex system with minimal guidance from others.
