Major investment bank are currently looking to strengthen their newly created internal FIX / OMS development unit with the addition of a Java Developer.
This project offers the rare opportunity to be involved at conception / initial design stage of a brand new ‘green field’ OMS development project with every single current relevant application & system being either replaced or re-designed with all stages of the project being performed by internal development units.
This position requires an individual with a background in FIX based OMS design & development ideally from a variety of rival banking competitors.
There are two key areas of necessary experience required for this role: Business & Technical:
Business:
This individual must demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Cash & Equities business.
Technical:
This role calls for strong ‘OO’ based Java & C++ development skills within a UNIX (Solaris) environment.
The role is based in Hong Kong with full re-location and visa sponsorship being provided for the right candidate.
