Cameron Systems currently has a position available in the Shanghai office for a Java Developer.
This is a new position created to support an increasing customer base.
This role involves Java development, product support and maintenance, and client facing. It will suit a motivated developer who wants to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and make a name for themselves in the industry.
Responsibilities Include:
Support & Development - 70%
- Design, implementation, and maintenance of the CameronFIX server, options, and new products (all Java based)
Client facing - 30%
- Pre and post sales technical guidance and support directly with customers
Performance will be measured by:
- Quality of software development
- Technical knowledge of Cameron Systems products
- Quality and timeliness of assistance given to customers and sales staff pre sales
Requirements:
- Comprehensive understanding of Java. Minimum 4 years of experience
- Design patterns / object oriented design
- Understanding of fundamental threading and synchronization concepts
- Network programming / sockets experience
- Familiarity with debuggers and profilers
- Familiarity with Windows and UNIX
- BS in Computer Science or similar degree
- Good presentation and communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience with the securities industry
- Experience with the FIX protocol
- Understanding of trading models
