We are seeking several mid-level developers for a high profile investment bank in Sydney to join a fast-paced environment working across a number of applications.
Ideally, you are degree qualified with around three to four years experience either developing or supporting trading applications. The skills mix includes Java, J2EE, RMI/CORBA, Sybase (SQL and TSQL coding), UNIX (shell scripting).
More importantly, you have excellent analysis and problem solving skills, strong and effective communication skills and the ability to adapt and work under pressure.
The client is experiencing significant growth and has a number of initiatives planned over the next 18 months. Moreover, you will be given excellent career opportunities into technical leadership or management.
As this role is based in Sydney, you must be at least a permanent resident of Australia.
