6+ month contract in Boston
Software engineering related to implementation and upkeep of FIX (Fiancnial Information eXchange) connectivity to 100+ equity brokers worldwide. Individual will support Financial Fusion FIX engine which is nearing end of life; will implement Transact Tools FIX engine in its place. Consultant will possess Unix, Java, Oracle, network programming, messaging experience, and absolutely MUST have recent and relevant experience of FIX protocol and supporting FIX engines.
Team player, excellent communication skills, able to make recommendations tactfully and assertively while fitting into team structure.
