Midtown Hedgefund is looking for Two 3-5 year Java Programmers with realtime multithreaded background to assist in the full project lifecycle development and support of their in house trading software. This is a team environment and they are looking for well-rounded problem solvers who can apply technology and logic to solve their business issues. Team also requires a dynamic personality that is comfortable working in a fast paced environment and can handle multiple tasks and interrupts. Environment consists of Java (J2EE, Server Side Java, Swing) as well as Sybase and/or Oracle that runs in a Unix Distributed High I/O calculations infrastructure. Must have Computer Science or Math degree and have demonstrated intern or professional experience developing real-time applications. FIX experience is a HUGE plus!
