Frequently identified as the market leader in Financial Information Exchange (FIX) technology, Javelin boasts the most knowledgeable and experienced FIX development and support team in the industry.

Javelin Technologies, Inc. is currently looking for Client Support Engineers. This individual should be fresh, exiting, detail-oriented, a self-starter and ready to work in a fast paced environment.

Client Support Engineers are Javelin’s software integration troubleshooters. CSE’s provide level one and level-two development support via telephone and email for clients who require support installing, integrating or troubleshooting their integration with Javelin software. A level-one CSE is assigned to every client to act as the single point of contact for all problems. CSE’s directly answer all calls to the support desk hotline as well, there are no interim help desk technicians simply managing a knowledge base. Our CSE’s are programmer’s, connectivity specialists and analyst’s who have helped clients integrate Javelin products with many in-house and popular third party order management systems. They also have hands-on experience helping clients thru the nuances of connecting with various buy-side and sell-side counter-parties, ECN’s and major exchanges FIX engines.

· Previous FIX , C++ , Java, perl, or database experience.
· This position will require an individual with more hands-on connectivity troubleshooting and client management.
· Experience with FIX protocol, connectivity, troubleshooting (minimum 2yrs).
· Previous software or connectivity support .
· Knowledge of various operating systems including NT, Solaris, Linux and other Unix environments.
· Understanding of real time electronic communication protocols especially TCP/IP based.
