Senior Client Support Engineers

Javelin Technologies has been bringing trade efficiencies to the world’s leading buy and sell-side institutions, clearing houses, hedge fund managers, exchanges and ECNs for more than five years. Frequently identified as the market leader in Financial Information Exchange (FIX) technology, Javelin boasts the most knowledgeable and experienced FIX development and support team in the industry.

Javelin Technologies, Inc. is currently looking for Senior Client Support Engineers. This individual should be fresh, exiting, detail-oriented, a self-starter and ready to work in a fast paced environment.

Sr. Client Support Engineers are Javelin’s software integration and engineering escalation team. CSE’s provide level-three development support via telephone and email for clients who require help in integrating or troubleshooting their integration with Javelin software. Senior CSE will manage several large client on-going projects and act as escalation point for all production problems. Our senior CSE’s are programmers and project leaders who have helped clients design their FIX implementation and integrate Javelin products with many in-house and popular third party order management systems. They also have hands-on experience helping clients thru the nuances of connecting with various buy-side and sell-side counter-parties, ECN’s and major exchanges FIX engines. Project management skills are a must as the position requires heavy client interaction at all levels from operations thru management as well as managing other CSE’s on a project-by-project basis.

Currently we are looking for an individual who has strong FIX (minimum 2 years) and financial application support background (minimum 5 years) with Java or C++ experience as well as project management experience (minimum of 2 years) to step into the role of a senior CSE and join the industries leading FIX professionals. This position is New York City based.
