http://jsig.com is a mature Java Special Interest Group in the City of London (with a new website missing the last 7 years of talks…)
We use the Sun CBC http://uk.sun.com/aboutsun/location/map-london-1.html for talks and I’m offering companies with FIX/Java products to come and chat. We have a very technical audience drawn from banks and vendors around the City who like code to be a part of the talk. Hands on is good and the audience even ask questions.
