Support the Transaction Desk of a major ECN as well as focus on increasing broker dealer market share and revenue in Nasdaq and Listed equities.

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Have strong knowledge of OTC and listed markets.
  • Handle customer inquiries.
  • Support all DOT inquiries.
  • Perform all transaction desk related ACT, and National Stock Exchange responsibilities.
  • Limit risk by being fluent in Escalation Procedures, and SOP’s.
  • Train customers on new and existing Inet and legacy Instinet functionality.
  • Stay abreast of Industry trends, issues, and competition.

Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of the over-the-counter and listed markets.

  • 2-3 years experience in the securities industry
  • Ability to follow direction well, especially during high stress situations.
  • Superior communication skills with clients and co-workers.
  • Understanding of US equity market structure and issues that affect Inet ATS’s business.
  • Trading desk / Brokerage Support area experience is a+
