HOUGHTON, MI – The LaSalle Technology Group, LLC (“Lasalletech”) is pleased to announce the immediate availability of FIX Explorer Mobile for Android (Beta). FIX Explorer Mobile for Android (Beta) joins Lasalletech’s popular FIX Explorer Mobile app for iPhone. The applications are provided as an absolutely free service to the FIX Community and are available for download in the Apple and Google Play app stores.
FIX Explorer Mobile is an application that provides FIX message formats and fields for all versions of FIX that is fully searchable. The app is the fastest and most efficient way to browse the FIX standard repository on iOS and Android based devices.
“We often found our customers, and our own employees, searching for a faster way to look up a specific FIX tag or message without having to be tethered to a PC,” states Craig Otis, Lead Software Developer at Lasalletech. “We decided this was an area in which we could increase our own productivity while giving something back to the FIX Community.”
Using FIX Explorer Mobile, users have the ability to:
- search quickly through all specifications for any field, component or message using a number of search parameters including tag, name, and message type.
- browse an individual specification to find a specific version of a field, component or message.
- navigate the items of any component or message, browse repeating groups, look up enumeration descriptions, and more.
