Business
•Management of Futures IT projects as required by the Futures business.
•Receipt, testing and implementation of software releases/patches when required.
•Support of the Front Office electronic trading application (Nyfix)
•Build solid working relationships with clients, traders and vendors.
•Liase regularly with clients & traders updating them with status of any issues.
•Assist in developing & documenting procedures for front office support.
•Proactively manage issues to a successful conclusion, following up as necessary.
•Assist in developing Futures intranet for effective internal communication and sharing of information
Team
•Liase closely with other team members (London & globally) to achieve goals.
•Assist on projects and with system testing during upgrades and new releases.
•Produce plans for ongoing projects, releases and support.
•Attend team meetings, providing status updates for work being performed.
•Complete specific tasks on time (e.g. timesheets)
•Liase with Business and IT staff from other sites where appropriate and visit these sites when required.
•Be flexible & prepared to work in a changing environment, as business needs dictate.
•Assist in the development of existing processes and create new processes as required.
Vendors
•Liase with and manage vendors technically to diagnose issues quickly.
Other
•Represent the TCMIT department where required.
•Liase with other IT areas within the Company as required.
•Promote a professional and positive image of T&CM IT.

Essential experience:
•Minimum 2 to 3 years supporting Futures Front Office Electronic Trading Systems
•Minimum 5 years IT experience
•Track record of delivering medium to large projects – on time and in budget
•Knowledge of Futures & Options Markets
•Strong knowledge of Windows OS
•Practical understanding of Relational Databases
•Strong experience in all aspects of Front Office Electronic trading applications, NYFIX OBMS Trading System very desirable
•Networking Fundamentals, inc TCP/IP over LAN, WAN and VPN
•Network Address Translation
•Understanding of Firewalls
•Good UNIX skills
