Dynamic & established Organisation are looking for a Senior FIX Developer. You will be joining firstly to be the key development figure for a new Project; designing, developing, and implementing a new trading system.
You must have a good understanding of FIX, Java or Visual Basic (ideally both!!), as well as any .Net exposure would be a bonus. Ideally you have been involved in development projects that have involved working with (Building, developing or implementing) an in-house FIX engine or an engine from one of the leading vendors.
The position does require someone with a Strong relational database background, preferably Oracle, with current experience in database design, stored procedure development, performance and tuning, and replication. Regarding business systems; strong experience of order routing, equity trading, and connectivity are required.
This opportunity is permanent, however will start on an initial contract basis ideally ASAP. The sooner you can start the better, as you will be able to directly contribute to the technical direction and functional specification.
