Location: NYC
Position Description:
· This is a position in the EAI (Enterprise Applications Infrastructure) team.
· The candidate will be responsible for the Web Technologies at.
· This includes web servers, application server, web services servers and content management.
· The candidate will manage a team that is responsible for Web Engineering and another team that is responsible for Web deployment.
· The candidate will work with application development teams and content development teams to ensure timely and high quality design and deployment of applications.
· They will interface with Infrastructure, Quality Management, Performance and other members of the EAI team to enable this.
Skills Required:
· Deep and extensive knowledge of web environments.
· Must have managed a team before that is responsible for web engineering.
· Knowledge of Microsoft IIS and related .NET technologies.
· Knowledge of Java and J2EE technologies (WebSphere preferred).
· Familiar with Windows 2003 and Linux operating systems.
· Should have worked with deploying multiple web applications in a large environment.
· Excellent communication and people skills.
· Displays leadership qualities and has a keen sense of delivery timelines.
· Should be able to weigh conflicting priorities and make intelligent tradeoffs.
Skills Desired:
· Has done programming in a previous role.
· Familiarity with database technologies.
· IBM Mainframe knowledge.
