I’m doing a search for a client who is looking for a person with about 3 to 5 yrs of VC++/C++/Object oriented exp. The person must have a solid Microsoft product background. 2 to 3 yrs. of FIX exp. is a must. SQL background preferred. The candidate must have an in-depth understanding of object-oriented design and implementation exp. TCP/IP socket level programming is a big plus. Any messaging system background is a plus. Experience with multi-threading applications is preferred. Good understanding of fixed income transaction process is important.
I have two roles with two different companies.
One role will top out at about 100k on the base, with a total comp. of 120 to 130k.
The other role will is a little bit more senior and come in at a total comp. of 140 to 170k. (Depending on level of exp.)
