One of the elite Investment banks in NY is looking for an all star for their application infrastructure middleware group.

The Application Infrastructure Middleware (AIM) provides product solutions and software support to applications development across the Bank. Product solutions include database abstraction APIs, connection pools, transaction managers, messaging APIs, an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) solution and a framework for building Business Process Management (BPM) applications

Qualifications

·Work directly with clients to aide in the integration, usage, and support of AIM product(s).
·Manage and own the full development lifecycle of assigned projects. This includes research, analysis, development, testing, QA, and deployment.
·Develop on the Windows, Solaris, and Linux platforms in C++, Java [core], and C#
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
·5+ years experience in C++ & Java.
·Experience in the following platforms: Solaris/Linux [core], Windows, .NET [bonus].
·Experience in messaging, message oriented middleware, and transaction processing.
·Multi-Threading experience on large-scale applications.
·Experience in file- and socket-based IO.
·Strong understanding of the fundamentals of Application engineering
·Expertise in distributed application execution frameworks and architectures.
·Background in the Software or Vendor industry is a strong PLUS
·They are not specifically using Tuxedo, but and type of messaging frameworks (Tuxedo, Tibco Rendevouz, RV or EMS would be big)
·Pub/Sub(Publish Subscribe) experience would be a huge plus
·Point to point
·STL(Standard Template Libraries)
·IPC(Inter process communications)
·JTA (Java Transaction API)
·JMS
·MQ Series
·Corba
·Sockets, TCP, IIOP
