Real Time Margin is this firm’s enterprise margin calculation system serving Prime Brokerage, Private Wealth Management as well as Institutional Equity Division. It is a multi-tied, multi-application calculation and exception management platform used daily by Collateral Manangement Operation Group as well as risk managers.
The firm is looking for a good java developer to join the team to assist in design, implementation, test and roll out of the new Margin House Calculator. The candidate must be detail-oriented, motivated and highly-organized; must have good communication skills and work well both independently as well as in a team environment.
Skills Required Solid java programming skills and in-depth knowledge of Object Oriented Software Design Methodology. In-depth knowledge of relational databases * preferably Sybase. Hands-on experience with Shell / Perl scripting. Familiar with Source Code Control System ( perforce a plus ) 2 * 3 years of software development/maintenance.
