A top financial firm in the NYC area is currently looking for a developer to join its elite fixed income trading desk. This person will be responsible for developing new functionality for the systems, while supporting existing technology and systems.
Requirements:
2+ year of strong OO design and programming skills in Java and C++
Experience with high-performance, multithreaded programming (thread pools, critical segments etc.)
Must have strong messaging experience (TibcoRV or MQSeries)
Must have FIX protocol experience
Familiarity with IPCs using sockets
Extensive development in Unix/Solaris and Linux environments
Knowledge of equity financial instruments
