Production of Murex Specifications
-The Murex plan team will perform analysis of
requirements impacting Murex and will specify any
functional changes required in the application.
Specifically;
-Work with the implementation teams and
end-users when needed to define business
requirements impacting Murex
-Specify the functional changes required in
Murex to meet business requirements
-Review Murex technical specification to ensure
compliance of design to functional
specifications
-Review completed code to ensure delivered
functionality matches functional
specifications
Testing Support
-The Murex plan team will provide support to UAT teams.
-Specifically;
-Analyse calls and identify resolutions
-Analyse calls and identify the cause of the
issue (configuration / data / code etc)
-Work with Murex and the UAT team to define the best solution to system defects
-Where required define the functional specification of the change required.
Vendor management – Functional Development
-The Murex plan team will manage all functional
change to the Murex application. Specifically;
-Collate all potential work items for Murex
(defects, CR’s or new demands)
-Work with test managers, delivery PM’s and
users to define the relative priority of work items
-Direct Murex to undertake development work and
provide the relative priority of work items
-Track progress against the Murex development
plan to ensure timely completion of work
Prioritisation process and change management
-The Murex plan team will manage change to the
functional scope of Murex ;
-Collate all change requests from test teams,
delivery PM’s and users.
-Perform impact analysis of any CR
-Define and operate prioritisation process (NB
do not actually take make priority
decisions)
-Produce functional specifications and manage
the Murex development cycle
