I have heard a lot about the UK initiative EMX (using FIX) which connects fund managers and IFA’s in United Kingdom.
-
If an IFA in another country wants to connect to providers in UK, is EMX an alternative?

If a provider in another country wants to offer its services to the UK IFA’s, is connecting to EMX an alternative?
3 a. If yes, how does one connect to the EMX conceptually? (Internet/leased line?)
3 b. If no, are there any other initiative in Europe that uses the FIX technology?
Grateful for answers!

We have several US fund managers connected to EMX via different networks, so there is some flexibility. EMX uses a unique version of FIX, we provide an adapter as part of the CameronFIX platform. Contact us off line if you wish to discuss further.
