Hello,
I am going to start developing 1 small automated trading application. For this i need fix protocol engine so please anyone help me from where i got this fix protocol engine got for fix protocol connectivity. And for testing my automated application is there any testing fix protocol server than infor me.

Depends on yoiur technocal environment / requirements (e.g. latency, version support, etc). Best place to look is the “FPL Memebers” link on the menu of this website, under “Vendors”. Aso look at the announcements in the “Product Discussion” forum where you will see vendors posting about their engines.

version support, etc). Best place to look is the “FPL Memebers” link on

about their engines.

Give quickfixj (http://www.quickfixj.com) a try. It also comes with Unit and Acceptance tests based on JUnit.

www.openfix.net is a usefull tool to test connectivity.

Look for oder match in QuickfixJ. You need to set up a Fix Engine Server and a Client to place the orders there. You can create your own matching engine. Limitation we found with it, is that it does not supported StopLoss management.
