Openfix is a new open source C++ FIX engine designed from the ground up with aggressive performance (<20us latency and constantly improving) and reliability in mind. Written by engineers with previous experience at some of the largest banks in the country, Openfix is a production quality implementation meant to perform as well or better than current vendor products.
We’re planning to release the code in the coming weeks, along with associated documentation and tools. In the meantime, you can visit www.openfix.org to sign up for early access and help guide the developers in assesing what features are most important to prospective organizations. In addition, we encourage everyone to contribute bug reports, documentation, and code changes once the implementation has been released.
