Hi,

I’m start to learn about FIX, and I’m curious about the Session architecture.

Is there a compelling reason why a persistent session must be maintained ?

Is there plans in the future to adopt a ‘session-less’ FIX that allows credentials to be sent with every operation ?

Also, for which ‘party’ are these credentials ? Insitutions ? Individual users ? Both ?
