My client is a hedgefund in NYC.

We are in immediate need of a mid to senior
level QA Engineer. You will be working in a
very small team testing trading applications.
We don’t use a commercial testing product,
but rather develop our own. Your role will be
100% hands-on, testing our trading system.
We are a Unix shop, specifically with Solaris
and Linux. More than anything, we are looking
for someone who can see the big picture and
has been involved with the full project cycle.
This is not a role to sit and listen and just
follow policy, but rather one that offers growth
and innovation. This is a small company and
we need someone to join with new ideas, not
just someone who follows their company’s
procedures. Our salary is open based on
experience.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years with QA
  • FIX or CMS experience. Both is a plus.
  • Unix is a must, either Solaris or Linux
  • Shell Scripting
