Definition of “Application Layer”, message types, business flows, required vs. conditional fields, and customization. FIX implementation of Asset Classes (Equities, Derivatives, FX, Fixed Income). FIX for Pre-trade and Post-trade

6. Connection On-boarding and Certification  
Network connectivity options (advantages-disadvantages), Rules of Engagement, Connection on-boarding, Certification and best practices

7. What’s new in FIX?  
FIX version 5.0, FAST Protocol, FIXML, Globalization of FIX
