Major NYC based Electronic Trading Firm seeks an OMS Administrator/Business Analyst
“Go to” Person for OMS issues - eg for Clients, Vendors and Internal groups
Mix of BA and IT. Need strong SQL Server and Sybase -eg, installation, manipulate data, extract data.
New postion is being created. The implementation side is doing little troubleshooting and installation - they go to IT. They want to create a new “go to” person - eg, go to the clients and “hands on” troubleshoot the OMS issues. Work with different OMS vendors is preferred (eg, 2+ vendors so variety with OMS vendors) - can pick up the different products. Will be involved with installation and all types of Troubleshooting - solve all the problems. OMS is mostly Sybase and SQL - so need some DBA skills (SQL queries, how to restore database etc). Need to know OMS business and how OMS can integrate with the Liquidnet business.
- Will report into the Systems Manager but truly need knowledge of the business -eg, work with all OMS Vendors, some Clients and internal groups
Work with Clients and the Vendors – will have Domain OMS knowledge, Client support and Work with and Select Vendors!!
Clients will want updates, enhancements, new products etc.
Knowledge of Windows server and install OMS.
Travel to clients can be anywhere but short time travel - then lot of remote troubleshooting (2-3 days expected at a time)
FIX experience preferred related to the OMS
Will work closely with the BA and Implementation teams internally - will set up new systems and integrate into current environemnts, do testing etc.
Client side and working with OMS Vendors is expected about 20-25%, 75% work with QA and Product Management and Implementation teams (they are front end that work with the clients)
