Order Rejection "TooLateToEnter"

Hi,
I am using FIX 4.3 to send out the FOREX orders but they are being rejected with the Rejection Reason “TooLateToEnter”. My understanding was that the FOREX trade is open 24 Hours.

I would appreciate if someone can explain what exactly does this mean.

Suggest to first talk to your counterparty who sent you the reject. I do not think that 4=“Too late to enter” is related to absolute times, that would rather be 2=“Exchange Closed”. It is related to a relative point in a business process. The FIX spec has a note on OrdRejReason (103) values which may or may not help in your case: “Values 3, 4, and 5 will be used when rejecting an order due to pre-allocation information errors.”
