Hi every body
I need your help please
when i request an order status using Fix.4.2 an it response with an execution report tell which me that the order Id was not found .

  • what could the problem be?
  • what should i put the orderId and the ClOrderID in the order status request?
  • when i send the single new order then an execution report returned with ordstatus(39) and execType(150) which mean new is that right?

Hi,

Check in your order status request that you are sending the ClOrderID (Tag 11) same as the ClOrderID (Tag 11) in your New Order Single. Also the OrderID (Tag 37) should be same as what is returned by the Broker to you in Execution Report, however this is not a requiredment for 4.2 as this field is optional for Order Status request.
Apart from ClOrdID the other fields that should be same as your New Order Single are, Side (Tag 54) and Symbol (Tag 55). With these three fields the order status request should go through.
