PAC-Invest Pty Ltd has announced it will offer an end to end solution, ASIC-Connect, for all sellers to meet the new regulatory reporting requirements introduced by ASIC.
The regulations introduce new obligations, effective 1 June 2010, for sellers to report short position information to ASIC. The new reporting requirements are outlined in the announcement by The Minister for Financial Services, Superannuation and Corporate Law, Chris Bowen MP, on 2 October 2009. PAC-Invest will provide a centralised platform for sellers to upload their short positions to ASIC-Connect from a simple CSV, which will deliver short position reports to ASIC over their private and secure FIX network. Data can be sourced from a variety of trading systems, or entered manually.
