I have an xml file with several parameters defined with the above attribute set to true. (i.e. qty, side, price, time in force)
The main portion of our order tickets always define these standard fields and provide the components for editing them. They are not normally considered part of the algo strategy fields.
I don’t think I really understand the use of this attribute…
I should also mention that the xml associates hidden controls with these definedByFIX parameters.
