Party blocks in Trade Capture Report

Hi team,

In the Trade Capture Report, parties can be represented in 2 xpaths.

TrdCaptRpt/Pty and TrdCaptRpt/RptSide/Pty

Is it ok to represent a party in the TrdCaptRpt/Pty field in all cases rather than representing this specifically under TrdCaptRpt/RptSide/Pty?

Depends on what you’re trying to communicate. The TrdCaptRpt/RptSide/Pty provides parties information in the context of a specific side of the trade, especially useful when you’re conveying a 2-sided trade.
