EXCEL DEVELOPER
We are looking for at least one person, to complement an existing developer
of an excel-based equity & fx trading frontend, soon to be futures+options.
Requirements, in order of approximate priority (most essential first)
Excel
VBA/VB
Realtime system development
The application integrates
Real-time market data feeds (e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters) into Excel using
DDE/RTD/ActiveX
Active complex Excel models
User interaction
Communication with the system backend.
…and experience of systems that reflect as close as possible this
requirement, is desirable.
However it is development of a real time system rather than one to do with
trading which is important.

MS SQL Server
Debugging / Performance tuning

UML/SOAP
We don’t want to specify a rate, because of the wide variations in potential
matches and the changing market conditions.
Position: contract or permanent
Team fit/personality: small informal software house. Very much a team
member, not a
soloist.
Start: asap, though OK if delayed by a notice period.
