Using your excellent project coordination, problem-solving and customer service skills, you will troubleshoot application issues in an Equity Cash platform & assist the team to roll-out the infrastructure for supporting these applications.
Must have financial services background. Efficient with deploying infrastructure for trading applications. Experience with Equity based applications such as Brass, Archipelago, Instinet, Redi-Plus, familiarity with ECN’s & security exchanges, Autex, NYFIX, U2, NASDAQ, TradeWare, Raptor, Triad, Market Look, etc. In addition, you need to have the command of Excellent project management skills with the commitment & determination to see projects through completion. Manage vendor relationships. Solid communication skills & can work with minimum supervision for accomplishing all assigned tasks. Ability to work with challenging deadlines & the ability to manage resources with conflicting schedules. Needs to work well under pressure & prioritize in fast paced environment. The ability to escalate when issues aren’t being resolved. Ability to work in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment and take a proactive stance in working with other technology partners to seek timely solutions for the client is essential.
Knowledge of NT & Unix operating systems are a plus. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information technology (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
