My client, a market leading global institutional agency brokerage is currently looking for a dynamic sales person / sales trader for their European portfolio trading desk.
The right candidate should have a good comprehension of portfolio and electronic brokerage (FIX etc) and be used to selling and servicing UK and / or European Investment Managers, Hedge Funds, Broker Dealers or Pension Funds. Individuals with a good client base and existing relationships in any of these areas would therefore have a distinct advantage, as would those who are currently working or have recently worked on a portfolio or electronic trading desk.
Working as one of team of 6, the role will involve actively selling, marketing and winning new portfolio trading institutional client relationships and then developing these and the rest of the team’s new and existing clients from the trading desk.
This is an excellent opportunity for a young, tenacious, FSA-qualified individual, with good relevant experience to work for one of the most respected organisations within the brokerage community and will remunerate accordingly.
Language skills while not a pre-requisite will also be favourably viewed.
