FIX Protocol Ltd. (FPL), the governing body of the protocol, has announced recent appointments to the European and Technical Committees. Maria Domnick, Head of European Connectivity at CSFB, has been elected to serve as the Sell-Side Co-Chair for the FIX European Steering Committee, succeeding Tim Wildenberg who has served in the post for the past 4 years.
Ms. Domnick brings a wealth of experience to the committee, having served on both the steering and sub-committees for a number of years. She will join Buy-Side Co-Chair Keith Wright of Baring Asset Management. The Sell-Side co-chair serves for a term of 2 years.
FPL also announced today that Dean Kauffman of TradeWeb LLC has been elected the Sell-Side Co-Chair of the FIX Global Technical Committee, succeeding Peter White, of Goldman Sachs (London) who will continue his work on the committee.
Mr. Kauffman has taken a lead role in the development of Fixed Income extensions to the FIX Protocol published in the current and upcoming releases of the specification. As Sell-Side Co-Chair, he joins Buy-Side Co-Chair Scott Atwell of American Century. The Technical Committee Co-Chair also serves for two years.
