Financial Software client requires a senior project manager from a technical background to co-ordinate the development and implementation of the clients ‘real time’ Straight Through Processing (STP) software on clients (investment banking) sites. Ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the processes involved in software development (Java, C, Oracle, Unix, NT, Fix Protocol) and the process of implementation. Client facing position, candidate will deal with the following: managing analyses, development, testing, delivery, UAT, implementation and connectivity issues. Candidate will scope, schedule, deliver installation and development of projects for the clients clients. Will also ensure that the managed projects hit their targets and that the customer and client are well informed, through reports and steering committees. Technical and BA staff will report directly to you. Client is looking for a client facing Project Manager who meets go live dates in the financial secor.
