The Global Technical Committee has reviewed and preliminarily approved the CFTC Large Trader Reporting Extensions II Proposal. This is an additional enhancement to support the CFTC’s Commodity Swaps Large Trader Reporting Part 20 requirements. The enhancement in this proposal is for two additional new fields requested by the CFTC.
The document now enters a public comment period in which public review and feedback is encouraged. Once the public comment period closes, the Global Technical Governance Board will meet to review public comments before final approval.
