PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD – Encoding FIX using JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) RC1

This proposal from the JSON Encoding Working Group provides the details of the Encoding FIX Using JSON Technical Standard Release Candidate 1.

JSON is the lingua franca for communications between web browsers and the services that power them. JSON Encoding of FIX supports the development of web applications that require FIX semantics. It is not optimized for low latency, but rather for human readability and interoperability between web services and web languages.

This release candidate now enters a public comment period in which public review and feedback is encouraged. The public comment period will run for a period of 90 days beginning on the 27th of December 2016.
